Reusable Bag Sew-In • 11/30/19

Please join Zero Waste Providence and Groundwork Rhode Island to support Providence's new city-wide plastic bag ban! We will be sewing donated fabric from Ocean State Job Lot to create one-of-a-kind cloth shopping bags that we will then be distributing to schools, libraries, health centers, and small stores to help make sure all Providence residents have easier access to reusable bags.

Please see flyers in English and Spanish below.

If you have your own sewing machines, please bring it! We will provide all other materials.

Food and kids activities will be provided as well. Come for an hour or the whole day!

Contact zwpevent@gmail.com or (401) 206-5383 for more information.

November 30th, 10am-4pm

Renaissance Church, 184 Broad St. Providence, RI
